Story Overview:

It is the year AD 174. The two world powers at the time, Fujin and Cruweg, are caught up in constant warfare. A 17 year old boy named Yumi, along with his friends and younger brother, Croz, are seeking to end this war by using a mysterious power known as Xel. However, there’s a bit of a problem in their way. This power was found to be too powerful in the past for anyone to have, and thus the 5 scrolls that instructed how to use it were hidden across the world. They’ll have to travel across both Cruweg and Fujin to find them. Little does anyone know what the truth is behind this mysterious power of Xel…and what it will lead to…

Gameplay Overview:

In Kingdom Come Rising, you’ll explore various towns, caves, forests, and dungeons. Sometimes throughout these areas you’ll encounter opponents. Get near to these opponents, and a battle will begin. Winning the battle will award you with a level-up. Sometimes in battle you’ll have to fight the same opponent for several rounds, or fight several opponents in a row. Throughout the game you’ll also be able to talk to several NPCs. Talking with an NPC may begin either a Main Quest or a Side Quest. In Main Quests, most often you’ll watch a cutscene and fight a battle. Before entering a Main Quest, try to make sure you’ve done all available Side Quests nearby, ensuring your victory.
