Metal Soldiers Mobile

Metal Soldiers is making its way into the portable world! Take an enhanced version of the game with you anywhere to play anytime, or stick to the browser version to experience the enhancements on PC! Whether you’re new to the game or if you’ve already bested the metal conflicts of the New Frontier, Mobile is now the best version of the game to play.

Enhancements:

Not only can you now use touch controls, but the UI has had some adjustments to better fit mobile and the gameplay has had a lot of tweaks. Wanted to play as those boss mechs like Tiger, Densetsu, or Hakai Z? Now you can! Simply beat them as you did before…then pop into Customization and select the newly appeared parts! And the parts will unlock in VR Mission, too, leading to many new mecha combinations that were impossible in the original version of the game (and by many, we’re talking 5 whole more mechas bringing the total to 12, or in other words nearly double the original game). There’s also various difficulty adjustments (some of which are optional…you can pick in settings between “Original” and “Beginner” modes), and after clearing the game you’ll be able to reset your upgrades without deleting all your progress if you want! That way you can play through easier missions again without feeling overpowered, or just go through the fun of upgrading your mech all over again. Not to mention that after beating all Standard Missions if you Depart without selecting a mission you'll be able to enter the ARENA! Take on various Metal Soldiers characters in addition to guest stars Yumi and Hiro from the Kingdom Come series in a more difficult version of VR Mission, and with a higher CP Pay! As you can see, there’s a lot improved in this version!

Controls:

Metal Soldiers Mobile supports the gamepad and keyboard input present in the original game, in addition to new touch controls. The new touch controls mostly match with the gamepad inputs name-wise, though not entirely. Please note that while on PC you can still play with keyboard or on both platforms you can still play with gamepad, the button displays on-screen will still be for the touch inputs. While for gamepad this will MOST of the time match up, with keyboard it rarely will. Thus, for playing with keyboard especially, though also with gamepad, it is recommended you already are familiar with the original version of the game made specifically for those two input methods. Metal Soldiers Mobile is a celebration of the original game’s 1st anniversary, including features that were cut from the original game due to time restraints during development. In addition to including the features originally cut from the game (though I will go ahead and let everyone know the original game WAS going to have multiplayer, but that was cut early on compared to other features due to the difficulty of working it into the gameplay system), this game also brings the game to mobile (which was originally planned), and enhances the game in various ways.
